This is 35 ♥️ Thank you for all the beautiful birthday wishes today. It means so much to me! It was a wonderful day and honestly most days are. Life is determined by the decisions and people we value every day. I love the beautiful souls I’m surrounded with. I’m humbled by, and grateful for my life. I recently came across these old photos from ten years ago. They stopped me in my tracks. Ten years ago, at 25 years old, I was a single mama to my sweet Myla just trying to find our way. I was pouring hard into my relationship and worth with God. Those memories came flooding back. You can create a completely different life in ten years. Isn’t that wild?! Makes me excited for the next ten. Grateful for God, my Savior, my eternal companion @brian_poulsen24 , these precious souls I get to mother, and the opportunities life brings. 1. This one is pretty obvious 😉 but I’ll tell you how I started this whole online adventure. I was feeling lost not using my passion for hair and makeup as a young mom. I started making tutorials for friends wanting to know how to style certain ways and posted them on my account. I was hired by @howdoesshe to be a beauty contributor and it pushed me more than I ever would have pushed myself. I’m grateful for that accountability because this space has truly changed my life and brought me together with all of you.
2. My favorite thing about myself is my desire to connect. I don’t always succeed but I consistently focus on trying to help those in contact with me know I truly care. It’s an ongoing process I’m committed to.
3. I dream of owning horses out my back door ☺️ A dream I’ve had since childhood.

Thankful for this quirky clan! These are our best attempts at getting a family pic today 😆 Bianca does what Bianca does 👌 Missing Myla but I got to FaceTime her and she had a wonderful day! It was surreal to be in our new home for the first of many holiday memories we will make here. This is our new dining room which is my favorite room of the house. Can’t wait to keep designing it and gather here for family meals. I am so grateful for all of you. Thank you for the joy and connection you bring to my life.
